We administered two short Likert scales to each focus group. Likert Scale A was meant to assess student attitudes toward the animated character Jasmyn. Likert Scale B was meant to assess student attitudes toward animation as an instructional medium.
Focus Group #1 viewed the lecture-style video; Focus Group #2 viewed a video with supplemental animations; and Focus Group #3 took part in a real-time interactive lesson.
